Renovation of a municipal facility in Downers Grove, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work under this contract includes the upgrade of existing multimode fiber optic communications to single mode fiber (SMF) optic communications, installion of a new SMF lateral to the Illinois Tollway backbone fiber handholes, replacement of the existing field ethernet switches with new switches, installation of new ITS enclosures, installation of new concrete service pads and ITS disconnect switches at selected locations, maintenance of traffic and other miscellaneous work The location of the services to be performed for this contract is the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) Mile Post 42.2, Tri-State Tollway (I-94) Mile Post 3.6 to 25.0, Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88) Mile Post 55.3 to 118.6, and Veterans Memorial Tollway (I-355) Mile Post 0.2 to 28.4 in Cook, Lake, Lee, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane and Will County, Illinois Questions pertaining to the intent of the contract documents may be sent to the Illinois Tollway, attention 4599D.9291_Questions@docs.e-builder.net, to be received no later than 2:00 p.m. local time on November 7, 2023.
