Demolition, site work, remodeling and renovation of a water / sewer project in Washington, District of Columbia. Completed plans call for the remodel of a water / sewer project.
Remove existing underground storage tank (UST), remediate soil, if necessary, replace fill and pavement , and install a new aboveground storage tank (AST). Saw cut around the perimeter of ~12'-10" x 31' concrete slab, demolish the concrete slab and remove the two manhole covers, two valve vault covers on the slab above the UST. Provide temporary storage for the fuel oil in the UST. Drain the content of the tank into a temporary storage tank before rigging the UST for disposal. Decommission and safely remove the existing UST. Dispose the demolished UST in a remote solid waste management facility. Remove all underground fuel oil lines serving the UST dispose the debris in a remote solid waste management facility. Replace void with appropriately compacted fill following the recommendations of a Geotechnical Engineer. Replace the concrete pad with asphalt pavement as stated in SOW. Estimated Budget Amount or Price Range: In accordance with FAR 36.204, Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price of this construction project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,00
