Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in North Liberty, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Project will involve the following: Construction of Penn Street at the CRANDIC railroad crossing. Work includes PCC roadway paving, railroad approach paving, sidewalks, storm sewer, pavement markings, grading, sod, site restoration and CRANDIC railroad provisions. The work shall begin no earlier than June 10, 2024 and must commence by the late start date of July 22, 2024. Work must be substantially completed no later than August 16, 2024. Once work has commenced, the contractor shall have 15 working days to achieve substantial completion. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
