Conceptual plans call for the construction of a three-story above grade multi-residential development; restaurant; retail development; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

A detailed scope has not yet been released. The Town of Schererville is pleased to announce the opportunity to redevelop the approximately 1.03 acres site, 22 West Joliet Street, which is located west of the Schererville Town Hall, north of Joliet Street. Schererville is now accepting proposals to purchase and redevelop this land. Respondents wishing to submit a bid for the Request for Proposal (RFP) are encouraged to pick up a packet at the Schererville Town Hall (10 E. Joliet St.), Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm. A fee of $10 is required for each set of Redevelopment Proposal Documents. Sealed written offers will be received until November 30, 2023 at 9am local time. Offers will be opened and read aloud at that time.
