Site work and paving for a civil project in Plainwell, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The project includes roadway reconstruction on and installation of approximately 3,960 feet of new sanitary sewer, 7,900 feet of water main replacement, drainage improvements, installation of new sewer and water services, driveway reconstruction, restoration, and all associated work on Cherrywood, Russet, Thomas, Washington, and Glenview in the Plainwell Old Orchard neighborhood. A pre-bid conference will not be held. The City of Plainwell reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City of Plainwell. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidders maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. Question Deadline 11/20/2023 at 2:00 PM ET Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered Plan Holders. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
