Base Bid: Construction of approximately 5,315 linear feet of 10-inch water main, 600 linear feet of 4-inch water main, connections to existing water mains, installation of gate valves, restrained joint fittings and air release valves, removal and replacement of asphalt roadway and asphalt driveways, and all other necessary appurtenances as specified and depicted in the Contract Documents. Additive Alternate "A": Construction of approximately 810 linear feet of 4-inch water main, connections to existing water mains, installation of new service lines, installation of gate valves, restrained joint fittings and air release valves, removal and replacement of asphalt roadway and asphalt driveways, and all other necessary appurtenances as specified and depicted in the Contract Documents. Alternate "A" also includes abandonment of the Haynesworth Mill groundwater well in accordance with SCDHEC standards and demolition of the existing Haynesworth Mill well building and site improvements.
