Site work for a water / sewer project in Summerton, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replacement of nineteen (19) existing fire hydrants and one hundred (100) existing water meters with associated meter boxes throughout portions of the Town of Summerton, SC. No bidder may withdraw his Bid within 90 consecutive days after the actual date of opening. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of the OWNER, negotiable U. S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable Surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. OWNER reserves the right to reject any and/or all Bids or to waive any informality in the Bidding. Bids may be held by the OWNER for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
