This Request for Proposal is to solicit bids from interested and qualified Vendors for removing floating woody debris from Ross Lake, a hydroelectric reservoir administered by Seattle City Light (SCL) in Whatcom County, Washington. The project site is near the Canada/U.S. border and accessed through British Columbia. The City will award a contract to the top competitive firm as determined by the evaluation criteria herein or create a pool of vendors that will be used as needed and upon the request of the City. Upon evaluation, the City will determine the number of appropriate awards to ensure capacity to meet City needs. The City may select any vendors that have received a contract award to perform the specified services at the choice of the City. The City may go directly to one of the awarded vendors to assign the work or request additional quotes to select among the awarded vendors depending upon the needs of the City. Questions Due Date: Nov 3rd 2023, 5:30 PM PDT Contract Award 12/14/2023 This contract shall be for one-year with four (4) one-year extensions allowed at the option of the City.
