Linden Well Pump Rehabilitation The scope of this project includes: remove the pump, inspect the well, and rehab or replace the pump bowls, shafts, spider bearing bushings, and other worn parts. All bids must be based on the Bidders Instructions and Specifications, and the descriptions and additional data sheets provided in the Technical Provisions. Data sheets will be provided as technical references for materials and equipment to be provided under this bid. All bids shall be delivered with a concise statement marked on the outside of a sealed envelope identifying the project to which the bid pertains. Direct any questions regarding this Project to Water. Contractor License is required to bid on and complete this work. All bids shall include Bidder s security in an amount equal to 5% of the total Bid, payable to the City of Coeur d Alene, in the form of: a) Bidder s Bond executed by a surety company qualified in Idaho, b) Certified Check, c) Cashier s Check, or d) Cash. The City, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, notifies all bidders that it will ensure disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin. Davis-Bacon Wage Rates are not applicable. The City may reject any or all proposals.
