Renovation of a civil project in Camas, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
STATEMENT OF WORK The work consists of but is not limited to construction of an ion exchange system, including sediment removal, for treatment of PFAS present in the groundwater, consisting of all major components within the technical specifications and commissioning of the work. Requirements for sequencing and scheduling the Work affected by existing site and facility, work restrictions, and coordination between construction operations, owner's integrator, and Well 13 (plant) operations. The Work consists of, but is not limited to, the details described below: 1. Construction of an ion exchange system, including sediment removal, for treatment of PFAS present in the groundwater, consisting of the following major components: a. Replacement of the Well 13 pump. b. Addition of two ion exchange vessels. c. Addition of a bag filter system for sediment removal. d. Modifications to existing, and installation of new above-grade and buried piping systems. e. Structural pads, canopy, and catwalk to support process equipment. f. Electrical and instrumentation improvements including demolition, modifications, and new work to provide a complete and functional electrical and instrumentation control system. g. Demolition of various site components as indicated, including: 1) The existing electric utility service and revenue metering. 2) The existing motor control center and internal lighting panelboard. 3) The existing standby generator. 4) Well 4 building (while maintaining the wellhead). 5) The existing well pump and associated piping. h. Construction of an electrical building as an addition to the existing Well 13 building. New AC Units and lighting for the new electrical building. i. New outdoor site lighting for new electrical building, bag filter area, and Ion Exchange vessel area. j. Demolition and modifications to the existing Well 13 control, instrumentation, and communications systems. All work must be done in coordination with the Owner's Integrator/S&B. k. Site paving, grading, and stormwater improvements. l. Site landscaping. m. Perimeter fencing. n. Addition of a new diesel generator to replace the existing generator. o. All incidental work required for a complete and usable pumping and treatment facility. p. Improvements to the chemical feed systems. q. Repair and reconstruction of existing improvements affected by the Work, and incidentals for complete and usable facility. r. Other work as defined in the drawings and specifications. 2. Commissioning of the Work
