Site work for a civil project in Benicia, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project proposes to install a new magnetic flow meter on the Valero Refinery water supply pipeline. The work includes installation of 14, 18 and 20 inch steel water pipe, appurtenant valves and fittings, traffic bollards and other site improvements, and electrical wiring to tie the meter into the City of Benicia SCADA system. The new piping will intertie with existing piping at the pump station. Proposers should refer to the Project Manual, attached here as Attachment B, for a further description of the Project, including but not limited to Project proposal requirements and procedures. Completion of Work: All work shall be completed within 85 Working Days for the date when the Contract Time commences to run. Owner specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all Bids, to re-bid, or to waive inconsequential defects in bidding not involving time, price or quality of the work. Owner may reject any and all Bids and waive any minor irregularities in the Bids. Bidders must submit Document 00 4313 (Bond Accompanying Bid) accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check (certified without qualification and drawn on a solvent bank of the State of California or a National Bank doing business in the State of California) or completed form of Document 00 4313 of not less than 10% of the base Bid, payable to Owner and completed in accordance with the provisions of Document 00 4313.
