Renovation of a water / sewer project in Honolulu, Hawaii. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Project will provide improvements to the Wahiawa WWTP as determined in the planning phase. The improvements may include screening, grit removal, pumping, additional aeration and filters, flow equalization improvements, disinfection improvements, electrical upgrades, control systems and related electrical, mechanical and site improvements. As of August 11, 2025, this project is included in the City and County of Honolulu's Fiscal Year 2026-2031 CIP and funding for construction is allotted for FY 2029. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
