Evaluate alternatives for re-aligning or reconstructing the existing sewer system located along Moanalua Stream. Based on the results of the planning phase, design and construct sewer improvements to help minimize risks due to proximity to the stream, and provide related work for rehabilitation/improvements of sewers for long-term reliability. Acquire new easements and reconnect laterals as necessary. As of August 11, 2025, this project is included in the City and County of Honolulu's Fiscal Year 2026-2031 CIP and funding for construction is allotted for FY 2029. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
