The City of Framingham ("City") is accepting sealed bids from qualified installers to complete the retrofit of existing MUSCO field lighting with new MUSCO LED lighting at three Little League fields - Carter, Merloni, and Tusoni. This is a lighting project to retrofit existing MUSCO field lighting with new MUSCO LED field lighting. MUSCO fixtures and equipment have been purchased by the City of Framingham. Existing poles will remain and support the new LED fixtures. Contractors submitting bids are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the project site and project documents. The selected bidder will make all final connections and complete the commissioning of the systems to ensure proper function. The City of Framingham desires the completed installation to be of the highest quality with regard to design, construction, and usability. The selected bidder shall report to the Assistant Director of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs, or his designee, during the entire project. Work under this contract is intended to begin as soon as possible after award, commensurate with the appropriate site and weather. Work under this contract is a priority and the City would like that work completed no later than April 1, 2024. The City reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any minor informalities & technicalities, or to cancel the bid if it were in the public interest to do so.
