Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Apex, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of December 21, 2023, project was awarded to Browe Construction Company Inc., awarded amount is $893,186.50. Scope includes concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, storm drainage, and asphalt paving to complete the sidewalk gap along the east side of Laura Duncan Road between Pinewood Drive and Knollwood Drive. Bid must be accompanied by an original, fully executed Bid Bond payable to Owner in an amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. A certified check, in the above referenced amount, may be used in lieu of a Bid Bond. All bids shall be prepared and submitted in accordance with the following requirements. Failure to comply with any requirement shall cause the bid to be considered irregular and may be grounds for rejection of the bid. The bid form furnished by Town of Apex shall be used and shall not be altered in any manner. The Bidder shall submit a unit price for every item on the bid form. The total amount shall be determined by adding the amounts bid for each item.
