Beck's Landing Re-decking The Town Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informality and to Reject Any or All Bids. The Town of Chesapeake City is an Eoe. INTRODUCTION The Town of Chesapeake City is soliciting bids to provide construction services to re-deck Beck's Landing Promenade. The Promenade is a fixed wood structure that includes a walkway and provides access to a 10 slip floating dock system. Beck's Landing Promenade is the focal point for residents, boaters, and other visitors to Chesapeake City. The Promenade provides an ideal location to view, interact with, and enjoy the historic waterfront in Chesapeake City. Funding for this project is made available through the State of Maryland Department of Natural Resources Center for Waterway Improvement and Infrastructure Program 2. SCOPE OF WORK The removal and disposal of approximately 3,700 sq ft of existing decking, to be replaced with 2" x 6" pressure treated wood held with stainless-steel deck screws. The site location and project area are shown in the attached Exhibit 1 and Exhibit 2. The Town understands that prospective Bidders may have questions; all questions should be in written form mailed or emailed and received before November 1, 2023.
