The Project consists of pavement overlay at three locations. The Base Bid at Branstetter Street includes 31,000 SF of HMA overlay with wedge cutting at conform locations, storm drain pipe and concrete encasement at the intersection of Sacramento Avenue and Dunsmuir Avenue, and Additive Alternative 1 is storm drain pipe and inlet replacement at the intersection of Sacramento Avenue and Branstetter Street. Additive Alternative 2 at Hope Lane includes 21,000 SF of HMA overlay with wedge cutting at conform locations. Additive Alternative 3 at Apple Street includes 4,500 SF of HMA overlay with wedge cutting at conform locations and full depth replacement at storm drain crossings and storm drain pipe replacement. Engineer's Construction Cost Estimate for the Base Bid is $174,000 to $192,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids will be on a lump-sum basis. All bids shall be evaluated on the basis of the Base Bid amount The general prevailing wage rate of per diem wages, holidays, and over-time work for each craft, classification, or type of workman needed to execute the Contract are established by the State of California, Department of Industrial Relations. State Prevailing Wage Rates can be obtained from www.dir.ca.gov/DLSR/PWD/. The Wage Decision, including modification, must be posted by the Contractor on the job site.
