All questions must be submitted in writing and e-mailed to the Purchasing Office to rick.hyman@westhartfordct.gov prior to the established timeline for questions per these bidding documents. 1. Furnish all necessary labor, equipment, dumpster and whatever that is needed to remove existing roofing system down to roof decking. 2. Install new blocking at perimeter edges to match height of new insulation. The insulation value will meet the energy code for roofs R 30. 3. Furnish all necessary materials, labor, equipment and whatever is needed to install a fully adhered roofing system, .080 PVC Sarnafil or equivalent. All work will follow manufacturer's specifications to meet the 30-year warranty. Design/specification will be submitted by Contractor to FM Global for review and approval. Contractors should be familiar with FM Global's RoofNav System. FM Approvals: RoofNav 4. Furnish and install all flashing and seam sealants required to maintain the 30-year warranty. 5. Furnish and install all metal trim associated with the roofing work. To match existing metal on building. 6. Install new gutters and leaders. Color to match trim metal 7. Install snow guards if/where needed. 8. Remove all demolition and waste. 9. Manufacturer's roofinspection and warranty required. 10. All Federal, State and Local Codes must be maintained. 11. Building Permit Fees by the town are waived. 12. See Attached Drawings and specifications of original roofsystem for aiding in design of new roof. 13. All Federal, State and Local Codes must be maintained. 14. Supply all necessary submittals/information required by the facilities department, building department or FM Global.
