The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is procure competitive quotes in accordance with the intermediate procurement procedures of ORS 279C.412 to establish a contract for the construction of a new, 36 ft x 96 ft x 14 ft eaves, 3456 sq. ft. post frame shop building for the benefit of OSP and ODFW. ODFW has purchased some materials for the construction including framing materials, overhead doors, and all steel products. All other materials shall be supplied by the contractor. Purchased materials are currently being stored at Ladd Marsh Wildlife Area in La Grande, Oregon. The work will take place in Wallowa County, Oregon. The work contemplated under this Contract includes all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, and services for, and incidental to, the completion of all construction work in connection with the project described in the Contract Documents. CONSTRUCTION OF AN ENCLOSED 6-BAY, 36' X 96' X 14' SHOP BUILDING FOR THE BENEFIT OF ODFW AND OSP. TO INCLUDE SITE PREPARATION, EXCAVATION, CONCRETE SLAB/FOUNDATION, POLE BUILDING TYPE CONSTRUCTION, METAL SIDING AND ROOFING, INTERIOR WALL FRAMING, ELECTRICAL, INSULATION, OVERHEAD AND MAN DOOR INSTALLATIONS. A. Contractor shall provide all necessary expertise, labor, equipment, materials, incidentals, and permits required to perform the New Shop construction including but not limited to: 1. Excavation and hole drilling as needed. 2. Complete construction of post frame type shop with finished interior. Includes purchase and installation of walk thru man doors, interior paint, any materials not purchased by ODFW, and installation of all ODFW supplied materials. 3. Installation of slab and exterior concrete apron/sidewalk, bollard installation. 4. Installation of electrical and heating components. 5. Fabrication of steel hoists. 6. All materials purchased by owner are currently stored at Ladd Marsh Wildlife Area, LaGrande, Oregon. Owner will transport materials to the site. B. The Work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles and for furnishing transportation and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, and for the performance of all labor, work, or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents.
