The sole points of contact for purposes of this IFB are the Procurement Officer John Dodson. Mr. Dodson may be contacted at telephone number 410 677-4023 between 7:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. or by FAX 410 543-6598. The vendor is solely responsible for ensuring any information sent to the Procurement Officer by FAX has been received by the Procurement Officer. Bids are not to be faxed. This contract is for the installation of centerline rumble strips on MD 16 at various locations between US 50 and MD 392, located in Dorchester County. Work will include but not limited to: o Centerline Rumble Strips o Mobilization/Demobilization o All required Maintenance of Traffic Controls o All equipment, manpower, labor and items necessary in order to complete the work. All work on this project shall conform to the Maryland Department of Transportation, State Highway Administration's Specifications entitled, "Standard Specifications for Construction and Materials" dated July 1, 2023, revisions thereof, or additions thereto, and the Special Provisions included in this Invitation for Bids. All work shall conform to MDOT/SHA "Book of Standards for Highway and Incidental Structures" located on the MDOT/SHA website. In case of discrepancy between the Special Provisions and all other provisions contained in the Contract. No pre-bid conference will be held.
