Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Niagara Falls Bridge Commission seeks qualified contractors to perform controlled rock scaling, removal of unstable rock and installation of rock bolts, cable mesh & shotcrete adjacent to the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge Substructure on the US side of the Niagara River Gorge. All Contractors must be pre-qualified to submit tenders directly to the Commission; if your firm is not currently pre-qualified to complete work for the Commission and you wish to submit a tender for this project you must submit a completed prequalification form no later than November 18, 2023; visit NiagaraFallsBridges.com, look under Services/Construction/Contractor Prequalification; follow instructions to submit a prequalification form. Once approved firms generally remain qualified to perform work for the Commission for a period of 3 years from the date of approval. It is anticipated that an Invitation to Tender for the Rock Outcropping Stabilization Project will be issued on November 20, 2023; firms pre-qualified to perform work for the Commission will receive a notification when the Invitation to Tender for Rock Outcropping Stabilization Project is issued.
