This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara ("Niagara Region") to prospective respondents to submit quotations for 2023-Q-220 6271 Glengate St, Niagara Falls Audible Visual Fire Alarm Upgrades, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Deliverables"). 6271 Glengate Street, Niagara Falls is a Two-storey institutional construction facility, owned by The Region and occupied by the Niagara Region Child Care Services. The building was originally constructed in 1978 as a church and converted in 2006 with a change of usage. The total existing building footprint area is approximately 5,600 sf. The building includes classrooms and children activity areas, various rooms for support services, kitchens, multiple storage rooms and offices.. To ensure Accessibility compliance, the building requires Visual and Audible Fire alarm devices throughout the facility to comply with OBC and Regional Accessibility Requirements. The Regional Municipality of Niagara (the Region) wishes to retain the services of an Electrical Fire Alarm Contractor (successful respondent) to supply and install Accessible Visual and Audible Fire Alarms to meet the Region's Accessibility Plan once the installation is complete. This RFQ is being issued to the Successful Roster Listing developed from Contract 2022-RFPQ-107 specifically Category 3.
