The City of Westfield invites sealed bids for furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work in connection with a construction contract for "Franklin Street Traffic Signal Improvements". The project provides infrastructure improvements on Franklin Street at Smith Avenue, intersection in the City of Westfield, Massachusetts. The work includes the installation of a traffic signal system, pavement micromilling and overlay, shared use path construction, sidewalk reconstruction, pavement markings, and other incidental items. Bids shall be on a Unit-Price basis. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Highway Construction, for the project with an estimated value of $1,373,029 will be required.
