Contingent upon formal awards, the Town of Lansing is soliciting requests for qualified professional engineering services to provide engineering services needed for the Town of Lansing for each project. The respondent shall inform the Town if they are interested in both projects and if only one, which project. The Town retains the right to award one or both projects to single or multiple firms based on the needs of the project and qualifications and services provided to evaluate each firm. Payment terms will be negotiated with the selected firm(s). The fees for professional engineering services will be paid with grant funds. The Town of Lansing reserves the right to accept a firm that is most advantageous to the Town. Selection will be based on evaluation factors of past performance, experience with the project type and funding requirements, professional personnel, experience, and availability. Awards will be made to the responsible/qualified firm whose qualifications are most advantageous for the Project The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Qualifications must be submitted by 2:00 pm on Friday, November 3, 2023. Interested firms must respond in writing addressed to Mayor Mack Powers, PO Box 266, Lansing, NC 28643. Please limit your proposals to 15 typewritten pages or less if practical and provide (3) copies of the RFQ.
