Renovation of a municipal facility in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

As of this time it is unknown if and when project will rebid.** Village of Waukesha hereby gives notice that sealed bids will be received at Village of Waukesha for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for Village of Waukesha Electrical Upgrades. The work for which bids are asked includes the following: The work for which bids are asked includes, but not necessarily limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the Electrical Upgrades at the Village of Waukesha located at W250 S3567 Center Rd, Waukesha, WI 53189. The bid will include removal of the existing overhead single phase & three phase electrical services and telecommunications services, installation of one three phase new underground electrical and telecommunication services, installation of new distribution equipment and refeeding existing distribution equipment, upgrade of existing gas service, installation of new pad mounted natural gas generator, and fill & patching of pavement where disturbed. All work will be issued under a single prime contract for general construction. All bidders shall bid in accordance with and shall bid upon the bid forms included in the Contract Documents. As holders of these documents, you are acknowledging your requirements to obtain any addenda or other materials prior to bidding and/or construction of the project. Because the Owner and Angus Young Associates has no control over the means of printing these documents, you take the responsibility for verifying that you have all documents and that they have been printed correctly. Neglect of the above requirements will not be accepted as reason for delay in the work or additional compensation. Prevailing wage rates are not applicable to this project. 2015 Wisconsin Act 55 (the budget bill) repealed the state prevailing wage law for local governmental units such as villages, towns, cities, school districts, or sewerage districts effective January 1, 2017. A certified check or satisfactory Bid Bond payable to Village of Waukesha in the amount of 10% of the bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee. If the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the Agreement, the Contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond, as required by the Contract Documents, within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award of the Contract by Village of Waukesha. Failure on the part of the bidder to do so will result in forfeiture of the bidders certified check or Bid Bond to Village of Waukesha as liquidated damages. The bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall be required to furnish both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond acceptable to the Village of Waukesha for 2.5% of the Contract Price for each of the above Bonds, in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. Village of Waukesha reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding, or to accept the bid or bids, which best serve the interests of the Village of Waukesha. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60)days after the schedule opening of the bids without the consent of the Owner or Architect.
