The City of Hamilton's Forestry and Horticulture plants and maintains 390 traffic islands across the City. In preparation for the 2024 planting season 3 inches of aged manure loam is required for approximately 4845.5 square meters (sqm) of planting bed area for traffic islands and boulevard gardens in Wards 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and Sam Lawrence Park. By way of this contract the City intends to partner with an established firm to carry out the Work as described.
