Site work for a civil project in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
A brief summary of the Work involved in this Contract for the replacement of Bridge 159 and rehabilitation of Bridge 189 is provided below, which includes but is not limited to the following: At Bridge 159: - Installation of temporary road closure and detour signage - Removal of the existing concrete open footing culvert in its entirety - Installation of temporary cofferdams and temporary flow passage system - Construction of gabion retaining walls - Construction of precast concrete box culvert and backfill - Placement of rock protection at each end of the culvert - Placement of asphalt on Regional Road 56 - Placement of pavement markings - Installation of guide rail system and end treatments At Bridge 189: - Installation of temporary portable signals, traffic staging configurations, and signage - Construction of semi-integral abutments and deck ends - Jacking of bridge at abutments - Reconstruction of bearing seats and replacement of bearings - Repairs to precast concrete girder ends - Construction of temporary driveway relocation southwest of the bridge - Placement of rip-rap at north embankment and all abutment corners - Placement of asphalt on bridge deck and approaches on Regional Road 56 - Placement of pavement markings Documents can be obtained at: https://hamilton.bidsandtenders.ca Question Deadline: Mon Nov 20, 2023 12:00:00 PM (EST)
