Work of the Project, of which Work of this Contract is a part, comprises the following: .1 Demolish the existing heating plant heating pumps, heating boilers, heating piping, valves and accessories within the mechanical room and fire centre building controls in its entirety. .2 Supply, install new heating pumps and heating boilers, heating piping, valves and accessories within the mechanical room and fire centre building controls in its entirety, and make operational the heating plant. .3 Demolish existing unit heater and thermostats. .4 Supply, install make operational new unit heaters and respective thermostats. .5 Asbestos removal and Air Monitoring. .6 Demolish existing 3-way control valves serving Reheat coils and 2-way control valves serving baseboard and existing thermostats. .7 Supply, install make operational new 2-way control valves including piping changes needed for the reheat coil and new 2-way control valves for the baseboard and new thermostats. .8 Demolish existing reheat coils. .9 Supply, install make operational new reheat coils including balancing of all baseboard and reheat coils. .10 Temporary heat shall be provided by the contractor during the entirety of demolition and construction. The building shall be occupied and fully operational throughout the entire process. .11 Rebalancing of all hydronic control valves and balancing valves within the fire center and mechanical room. .12 Rebalancing of all air flows to match new reheat coils being installed in its entirety of the fire center. .13 The replacement of the control valves and reheat coils shall be done while the fire center is operational with no interruption of service. .14 It is the contractor's responsibility to phase the work accordingly to allow the building to operate and be used without interruption. Consideration to provide dates and means and methods on how and when work outside of the mechanical room will be done including but not limited to demo and replacement of reheat coils throughout the fire center as well as control valves for all baseboard and reheat coil zones, including thermostats and controls should be done.
