The City of Riverside ("City") is seeking one (1) qualified entity or individual ("Company") to provide for the removal and disposal of existing generators and transfer switches at multiple Fire Stations and the electrical engineering design and turnkey installation of new diesel-powered emergency generators, automatic transfer switches and required electrical upgrades to provide a complete stand-alone emergency power system at all stations specified in Exhibit A. The system needs to be designed for automatic transfer to emergency power in the event of commercial power outages. Company shall supply all materials and labor to fully install the approved system in each of the selected fire stations including all information necessary for building and
generator operation permits including but not limited to installation drawings, structural calculations and drawings, electrical calculations and electrical load testing results including any required stamped approvals from all consultants including but not limited to Structural and Electrical consultants. Company shall be responsible for supplying all materials and labor at applicable prevailing wage rates for the complete installation of all components necessary for the 100% redundant emergency power system. The proposed systems will comply with all local, state and federal codes. The City anticipates selecting one firm to perform the services at all specified Fire Stations.
