This work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to install driven piles of the prescribed type in accordance with these specifications and in conformance with the lines, elevations, and spacing's shown on the plans. This work shall also consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to perform all operations to complete the drilled shaft installations in accordance with these specifications and with the details and dimensions shown on the plans. Drilled shafts shall consist of reinforced or nonreinforced concrete with or without concrete bell footings. The Board of Supervisors hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into perusuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprise will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Sunflower County and the State of Mississippi must accompany each proposal.
