Rehabilitate Runway and Access Taxiway (Crack Sealing and Seal Coat) - The intent of the contract is to provide for construction. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms ofthe contract. All work is located within the confines ofthe properties ofthe Ruleville-Drew Airport. Most ofthe work will be accomplished while aircraft operations take place in the nearby area Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty may be by certified check or bid bond made payable to the Ruleville-Drew Airport. Bids may be held by the Ruleville-Drew Airport for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract. This project is subject to the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended. The Contractor is required to comply with wage and labor provisions and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor. The right is reserved, as the Ruleville-Drew Airport may require, rejecting all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received.
