SCOPE OF WORK | SPECIFICATIONS New Castle County is seeking sealed bids for as needed repairs and replacements of windows and glass at various facilities maintained by the County. Facilities included, but not limited to are office buildings, libraries, public safety buildings and buildings within New Castle County owned parks. The types of windows that may need repair and replacement are as follows: - Tempered Glass - Laminated Glass - Glazed Windows - Fixed Windows - Sliding Windows - Double Hung Windows - Casement Windows - Pivoted Windows - Metal Windows - Gable windows - Sash windows - Lantern windows - Bay windows - Clerestory windows - Corner windows The thickness of the glass will vary based on the age, size, and scope of the facility The Public Works department of New Castle County is seeking sealed bids for repairs and replacements of windows and glass at various New Castle County maintained facilities. Pursuant to New Castle County Code and Delaware Law, each bidder must submit proof satisfactory to the County or its designated representative that the bidder and every subcontractor possesses valid and effective licenses required by the United States, State of Delaware, County and any applicable political subdivision in which the project is located to do business within each such jurisdiction and to perform the labor and/or supply the materials involved in the performance of the contract. No contract will be executed prior to the submission of such proof and the acceptance thereof by the County or its designated representative. The Division of Purchasing reserves the right to reject any or all bids in whole or in part, to make multiple awards, partial awards, award by types, award by sections, item by item, or lump sum total, whichever may be most advantageous to New Castle County. There is no guarantee that New Castle County will grant to any awardee any request for services and/or products
