The City of Hillsboro seeks competitive sealed bids from qualified and experienced firms able to provide construction services including, but not limited to traffic control, erosion and sediment control, excavation and backfill, trench rehabilitation, utility protection, pipe bursting, new system testing, and other work as directed. Furnish all equipment, materials and labor required to complete the replacement of existing sanitary sewer system by pipe bursting approximately 16,260 linear feet of 6"" to 22"" diameter sanitary sewer and replacing with HDPE pipe. Project also includes the pipe bursting replacement of approximately 17,500 linear feet of laterals from the main line to adjacent structures, replacement or reconstruction of approximately 90 manholes, and all associated restoration work. Pipe bursting insertion equipment shall be operated only by technicians who have replaced and upsized a minimum of 5,000 linear feet of HDPE sanitary sewer pipe using pipe bursting technology, as specified in the Contract Documents. Bidders must provide references for the pipe bursting technician(s) in the project qualifications submittal. Experience requirements must be demonstrated within 48 hours after bid open.
