Demolition, site work, new construction and addition to a transportation facility in Daytona Beach, Florida. Working plans call for the addition of a transportation facility; for the demolition of a transportation facility; for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
As of March 5th, 2024, per Owner, project has been cancelled, and will rebid at a future date. There is currently no plan to move forward with the project at this time. The existing domestic terminal building was constructed in 1992. An interior remodel project in 2002 created the existing Economic Development offices; in 2003 the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) office area, checkpoint and Volusia Room additions were constructed; in 2021 the Domestic Terminal Update was constructed; and a property-wide Security System Upgrade is currently in progress. Professional Construction Management/General Contracting Services for the New International Passenger Processing Facility and Terminal Expansion at the Daytona Beach International Airport for the County of Volusia, Florida It is the County's goal that the D&WBE participation for the Project is at least ten percent (10%).
