Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Watertown, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

The project site is located at 659 William T. Field Drive, Watertown, New York and includes the removal and replacement of all existing Ceramic Tile and furnishing and installing New Ceramic Tile as indicated on the Drawings, and as further detailed in the Project Description of this bid. The successful contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in the specifications. The successful bidder will be required to supply all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the Fairgrounds Grandstand Ceramic Tile Replacement Project as shown in the specifications, and bidding documents and as directed by the City Engineer including, but not limited to the following: 1. The Fairgrounds Grandstand Ceramic Tile Replacement Project includes the removal and replacement of all existing Ceramic Tile and furnishing and installing New Ceramic Tile as indicated on the Drawings and as further detailed in the bidding documents including all necessary appurtenances as shown in the specifications and bidding documents and as directed by the City Engineer. 2. Rooms receiving New Ceramic Floor Tile and New Ceramic Wall Tile per Drawing A-1 are as follows; Restroom 117 (6' height), Showers 120 (6'-8" height), Shower 127 (6'-8" height), Restroom 132 (6' height), and Restroom 134 (6' height). The successful company must review the INSURANCE AND BONDING CHECKLIST sheet, and provide all insurances and bonds, that will cover any type of work being done on this project. All insurance forms, like that for liability (ACORD 25) or Workmen's Comp (U-26.3 or C-105.2), must have a principal office in New York State or be authorized to do business in New York State. The City of Watertown must be listed under certificate holder on the forms. All insurances must be active for the duration of the job, and all insurance forms must reflect that fact. The City Council reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of not less than five per centum (5%) of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided for in the Information for Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of not less than 100% of the total amount of the accepted bid and in such form and having as surety thereon such surety company or companies as are approved by the City Council. Insurance carrier must have principal office in New York State or be authorized to do business in New York State. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under this contract.
