Site work and new construction of a civil project in Waipahu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Will be received at the Department of Accounting and General Services, Public Works Division Office, fourth floor of the Kalanimoku Building, Room 426, 1151 Punchbowl Street, Honolulu, Hawaii. The work generally consists of new wastewater lift station, new gravity sewer lines, new sewer force main, new underground electrical system, exterior electrical work, new riser utility pole, new interior electrical systems, testing of oil-filled transformers for PCB, disposal of oil-filled transformer and miscellaneous related work. The estimated construction cost is between $1 million and $2.5 million. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the voluntary pre-bid meeting and the state conducted site visit. No other time for a site inspection will be scheduled or allowed. Work at the waiawa correctional facility is within the secured confines of the facility. The pre-bid meeting is an opportunity for bidders to view the site conditions to develop work plans as part of the bid preparation process.
