As of September 16, 2025, a developer has been selected for this project. The project team is currently working with various city departments and boards on predevelopment. They're also engaging with the community. The permit set is expected Summer 2026. This project will be a mixed-use development 226 units with 340 bedrooms as well as green space and community space. Previous solicitation listed below for reference: The Jackson/Teton County Housing Authority, through the Jackson/Teton County Housing Department (“Housing Department”), seeks a qualified partner to develop permanently deed restricted housing on Housing Authority-owned property located at 90 Virginian Lane in Jackson, WY. The site is approximately 5.15-acres and is currently zoned Neighborhood High Density 1 (“NH-1”). Respondents should assume a long-term ground lease to the developer for a nominal annual fee unless otherwise noted in this RFP. A competitive response to the RFP will propose a highly livable, sustainable, and inclusive new neighborhood for local workers and their families. The goals for this new neighborhood include a focus on creating as many homes for local workers and their families as possible; creating a neighborhood rooted in sustainable design principles that minimizes energy costs borne by residents and environmental impacts and maximizes healthy interior spaces; leaning into multimodal transportation by enhancing connectivity and encouraging alternative modes of transit; building a mixed-income neighborhood that provides both rental and ownership opportunities and creates community by providing spaces for people to come together; and leveraging professional development and financing expertise through a public-private partnership model. Although a firm timeline has not been confirmed, construction is not expected to start prior to third quarter 2026.
