This project includes construction of a new booster pump station (BPS), decommissioning of both existing BPS facilities (BPS #1 & #2), demolition of BPS #1, and repurposing of the BPS #2 for housing Onsite Sodium Hypochlorite Generation (OSHG) equipment. The work also includes permitting, construction management, coordination with public utilities, construction phasing, material procurement, earth work, building construction, demolition activities, plumbing, electrical, controls, HVAC, mechanical equipment mounting, startup, testing, quality control, and so forth to provide a complete and operable system as outlined in the construction documents. The City of Richland, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
