Site work and paving for a civil project in Ellensburg, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Bid improvements consist of open channel earth-lined and existing concrete-lined canal replacement with new concrete-lined canal, and road improvements, drainage, earthwork and other work, all in accordance with the contract plans, the contract provisions, and the specifications. The improvements are for construction of water conservation and operational improvements to the District system. Requested work follows the existing North Branch Canal alignment. The segment begins upstream of the Stevens Road Bridge and extends approximately 14,000 feet to the Vantage Highway Bridge. The Project has been divided into a Base Reach and three Optional Reaches. The base bid improvements in these documents are for roadway improvements and canal lining from the Stevens Road Bridge for 1,400 feet upstream between Stations 1593+50 (MP30.3) and Station 1579+50. (MP29.9). It is the District's desire to improve the remaining reaches of the canal between Stevens Road Bridge and the Vantage Highway Bridge. Pricing of the initial reach as well as the optional reaches is requested for potential optional award at the discretion of District. The optional bid improvements in these documents are for roadway and canal lining improvements described as work related to canal improvements between Stations 1579+50 to 1565+50 (Optional Reach 1), 1565+50 to 1508+00 (Optional Reach 2) and 1508+00 to 1452+50 (Optional Reach 3). Optional award will depend on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, grant funding award, weather, cost, Contractors work plan, demonstrated productivity on base bid reach, and the anticipated start of the 2024 irrigation seasons on or about April. This optional pricing will not be factored into evaluation of apparent low bidder. Bidding Documents are for the purpose of obtaining bids for the Work. No authorization or conference of license is granted by District issuance of the Bidding Documents. Bidders are solely responsible for the cost of preparing their Bids. Questions will not be entertained during such an independently scheduled site visit. Any question stemming from the site visit will need to be submitted for public response through the District bid information posting process. The District specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all Bids or re-Bids or to waive inconsequential deviations from Bid requirements not involving time, price, or work quality.
