Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The WisDOT has added this project to their roadway improvement program. While it is expected that this will be a reconstruction project, the exact scope of the improvements will be determined during preliminary engineering undertaken the WisDOT. The City will participate in funding 25% of the preliminary engineering. Construction will be funded 100% by WisDOT with the exception of paving the parking lanes, sidewalk not required to be replaced as part of the project, traffic signals or street light upgrades. Construction is scheduled for 2030 The project is included in the City's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of December 01, 2025, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
