Renovation of a detention facility in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Working plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade detention facility.
As of December 17, 2025. Project is cancelled. No definite date for the rebid. The project includes updating HVAC equipment at the Pre-Trial Facility, 927 54th Street, Kenosha, WI 53140. Work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition and disposal, replacing existing rooftop equipment and VAV boxes including required piping, ductwork, and electrical connections, providing new controls, and integrating existing fire alarm devices into new equipment. Sealed bids will be received at the Kenosha County Purchasing Division. Late bids will not be considered. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to select the vendor considered most advantageous. The County also reserves the right to request additional information, clarify responses, award a contract for only some of the items in the solicitation, and waive minor irregularities.
