Site Directions: The project is located at the Northeast quarter of southwest quarter of Section 29 of Township 07 North, Range 12 East, W.M. Latitude 46.064 North, Longitude 121.339 West. Bird Creek Campground. Approximately 3. 7 miles northwest of Glenwood, WA. The project consists of the removal of existing 34 foot log stringer bridge and concrete abutments and installation of 60 foot long by 14 foot wide two-piece modular steel bridge on pre-cast concrete abutments. Project includes but is not limited to: clearing; removal and disposal of existing log stringer bridge structure including abutments; acquisition, delivery and installation of all materials for pre-cast concrete substructure; acquisition, delivery and installation of all materials for two-piece modular steel bridge superstructure; loading hauling and placement of pit run rock for construction; application of crushed rock for surfacing; acquisition, delivery and application of grass seed and straw. Prebid Directions: From Glenwood, WA drive east on Glenwood-Goldendale Highway for 0.5 miles to junction with Mt. Adams County Road. Turn left onto Mt. Adams County Road and drive north for 1.8 miles to end of county road and start of Kl000 Alt. Road. Continue north on Kl000 Alt. Road for 0.4 miles to junction with Kl0O0 Road. Turn left onto Kl000 Road and drive northwesterly for 1.3 miles to junction with K4000 Road. Turn left onto K4000 Road and drive westerly for 2.5 miles to junction with K3040 Road and entrance to Bird Creek Campground. Turn left onto K3040 Road and drive 0.3 miles southerly to project site.
