As of January,2,2024, project was awarded to HRT Construction Group, awarded amount is $18,542.77 The City of Fort Lauderdale (City), in accordance with the technical specifications and referenced drawings, is seeking bids from qualified firms to re-tile the walls in three washrooms at the Sunrise Memorial Gardens, located at 3201 NW 19th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, licenses, bonds, permits, and incidentals f in accordance with the specifications within this IQ. Such contact shall be for clarification purposes only The following documents are related to this project and attached as Exhibit 1: sketches: SKSMG001-1, SK-SMG001-2, SK-SMG001-3, SK-SMG002-1, SK-SMG002-2, SK-SMG002-3, SKSMG003-1, SK-SMG003-2, and the technical specifications Section III of this document. Measurements on sketches are approximate, Contractor must verify all measurements. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, licenses, bonds, permits, and incidentals for the replacement of the wall tiles in the three washrooms at the Sunrise Memorial Gardens in accordance with these specifications. The following is the detailed scope for each washroom: A. Men's washroom (refer to SK-SMG001-1,2,3): The scope of work associated with the men's washroom shall include the following: 1. Remove the existing wall tiles and drywall to the height of forty-eight inches. The Contractor shall recover all items attached to the walls for reuse. Any item broken or damaged shall be replaced at the contractor's expense. The quality of replacement items must be approved by the project manager in writing. 2. Reinstall replacement drywall with the same thickness so that the installation would be even with the existing drywall at the joints. The replacement drywall will be green or purple boards suitable for wet applications. 3. Contractor shall install electrical extension rings for electric boxes, to accommodate the new wall thickness resulting from the addition of tiles. 4. Install new tiles and grout from floor to ceiling with no baseboards. 5. Protrusions through the tile will be started by drilling the tiles. No chipping will be acceptable. 6. Install new urinal flush valve. 7. Remove existing sink faucet and replace with new. 8. Replace the p-trap with similar, new. 9. Replace the ADA compliant grab bars. 10. Replace the ADA p-trap padding under the sink. 11. Install new mirrors. The new mirrors will be supplied by the owner. 12. Install new drop ceiling tiles. The existing ceiling frame to remain. 13. Reinstall existing restroom accessories in same location as removed (paper towel dispensers, toilet paper holders etc.). 14. The existing floor tile to remain and must be protected from damage during construction. Any damages to the floor tiles will be replaced at the contractor's cost. Note: it is the contractor's responsibility to find matching tiles if required. B. Women's washroom (refer to SK-SMG002-1,2,3): The scope of work associated with the women's washroom shall include the following: 1. Remove the existing wall tiles and drywall to the height of forty-eight inches. The contractor shall recover all items attached to the walls for reuse.
