The work to be done under this specification is for the proper and legal hauling and disposal of decanted sanitary and storm sewer debris (classified as residential industrial waste) that have been removed from storm grit chambers (predominantly sand and organics) and sanitary sewer mains within the City of Minneapolis. Laborers and Mechanics shall be paid according to the Contracts for Public Works Ordinance, Minneapolis Code of Ordinances, Chapter 24, Section 24.200 through 24.260, as amended, and the minimum wage rates and fringe benefits paid to the various classes shall be as determined by the Secretary of Labor of the United States, for work in the City, subject to and upon compliance with all requirements provided in the Rules of the Office of the Secretary of Labor of the United States. the term of this contract is from Date of Award through 11/31/2025. Pricing is firm for the entire contract term. The contractor shall comply with all Federal, State, County and City laws, ordinances, and regulations affecting the work under this specification. The contractor will provide the City of Minneapolis with copies of all applicable licenses, permits and agreements certifying required legal compliance. The City reserves the sole and exclusive right, in accordance with all applicable law, to reject all or any part of any bid, waive informalities, defects, irregularities, variances, technicalities, and award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s) to best serve the interest of the City
