The term for this proposal is through December 31, 2024, following Superintendent's approval. The second and third-year will be subject to Superintendent's approval. Total estimated annual expenditures under contracts resulting from this proposal are estimated to be $200,000.00. However, this estimate should not be construed to be a guarantee of either minimum or maximum since purchases are dependent upon actual need and available funding. The District in its sole discretion, reserves the right to increase or decrease the budgeted amount as it deems to be in its best interest. The district reserves the right to purchase materials offered through special promotional campaigns when special offers and/or bonus items provide more favorable prices than the discount proposal. The awarded vendor must safeguard working zone and equipment, following proper safety standards for the protection of staff. Selected firms shall employ skilled, responsible persons who in manner and character are suitable to a business administering to the type of patronage found in the District's facilities. La Joya I.S.D. shall have the right to require that the awarded vendor(s) whose conduct is improper, inappropriate, or offensive, and such employees shall not be re-employed on the subject premises by the awarded vendor without written consent of the District. Any conduct that is considered unbecoming of a professional will be reported.
