Site Directions: Valdosta Regional Airport. Project location is adjacent to existing Air Traffic Control Tower. The Base Bid includes the construction of a new Airport Traffic Control Tower. The proposed Airport Traffic Control Tower includes a below grade mat foundation, structural steel framing, precast concrete wall panels, and some brick facade. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, made payable to Valdosta - Lowndes County Airport Authority, Georgia, equal to five (5) percent of the total bid is required. Contract security in the form of 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. No bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of One Hundred and Twenty (120) days. A Notice-of-Award for the Contract will be issued once a successful bidder has been determined and funding has been secured. The Valdosta - Lowndes County Airport Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to reject any or all bids or to award or refrain from awarding the contract for the work, whichever is deemed to be in the Owner's best interests.
