Site work for a water / sewer project in Watrous, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Dellwood Brook Dam is located approximately 22 kilometres northeast of Watrous, SK. It is the terminal reservoir on the Saskatoon Southeast Water Supply System (SSEWSS) and supplies water to the communities of Lanigan and Guernsey, the Nutrien Lanigan potash mine, and several rural users. The scope of the work is to provide contracting services to: PACKAGE A (a) Supply and Install armour upgrades on the Main Dam (b) Supply and install Dyke A and B Repairs (c) Dellwood Brook Channel Trimming (d) Spillway Outlet Channel Trimming (e) Riparian Outlet Channel Upgrades including scour hole repair, pipe lining, supply and install of impact baffle and vegetation management. PACKAGE B (OPTIONAL) (a) Replace the riparian gate with new. (b) Supply and install safety and operational upgrades on and within the riparian gatewell: (i) venting modifications, new bulkhead guides, new ladder and hatch, fall protection & confined safety davit cups, rotork actuator, bollards, etc. (c) Supply and install cabling, pedestals, etc. to electrify the site and connect the site to grid power including construction of grounding grid. (d) Supply and install Public Interaction around Dams upgrades such as fencing and signage. (e) Supply and test-fit isolation bulkheads. Place into storage in racking by Dellwood spillway.
