Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Waxahachie, Texas. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; bridge / tunnel; bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project will include survey, right-of-way acquisition, environmental assessment, SUE work/utility identification and coordination for relocations, trail design, pedestrian bridges, a concrete trail, drainage culverts, and various amenities. It is anticipated that the Consultant will provide, either by self-performance or by sub-consultants, all necessary design work for the project. This project is included in the city's fy 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program. As of October 31, 2025, the design firm has been selected. Construction is slated to begin in 2027. The completion timeline has not been determined. ect. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
