Site work for a water / sewer project in Parkland, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project is a continuation of a multiphase extension of the 72" diameter Parkland/Brookdale Interceptor that currently serve the upstream basins. Phase 6 includes the installation of approximately 3,600 linear feet of new sewer interceptor through easements on privately owned property and on 129th Street South from Yakama Ave South to C Street South. The improvement will serve East Basin, Rainier Terrace, Frederickson, Brookdale, and Golden Given Basins, as well as the parkland Sub-basin. As of November 1, 2023, this project is included in the Pierce County's FY 2024-2029 CIP and funding is allocated for FY 2026, FY 2027, FY 2028, and FY 2029. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
