The Town of Dracut invites written quotes from qualified contractors to perform all necessary inspections on the sprinkler systems, along with minor repairs, at locations within the Town of Dracut, to remain in code compliance with NFPA 25. Questions should be directed to Barbara O'Connor at boconnor@dracutma.gov and received no later than February 9, 2024, by 11 AM. Contractors must use the enclosed form for quotation. Quotes are subject to M.G.L. c.149 sec.44A(2)(A) and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 26 to 27H inclusive. Any award made of $25,000.00 and above, the awarded contractor must furnish a 50% payment bond. The awarded contractor must provide a certificate of liability insurance, 50% payment bond and W-9, along with the signed contract to the town within 10 days. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all quotes, to waive or not waive informalities or irregularities. Conditional quotes will not be accepted. Quotes that are incomplete, not properly endorsed, or signed, will be rejected. The awarded contractor will be required to execute the Towns contract, which is attached. Vendors are responsible to check back for any addenda that may be issued.
